I’ve been a professional writer since 2016 and became a published author for the first time in 2017. Over the years, I’ve written for a variety of niches, but I now only focus on the areas I’m passionate about. I’ve been published in True Crime Magazine, Serial Killer Magazine, Parkaman Magazine and Psychology Today, and I’ve written for high-profile crime podcasts Casefile and the Minds of Madness. My series of detective novels has also been very well-received.

Additionally, I’ve ghostwritten numerous true crime, crime fiction and horror books for various clients and publishers. Subjects include, amongst others, the Yorkshire Ripper, the Zodiac Killer, the Amanda Knox case, unsolved murders of the world, Ed and Lorraine Warren, the Fukushima incident, and one of the few books detailing the history of Japan’s suicide forest.

I achieved my qualifications in criminal psychology from the Open University in 2014. Furthermore, I am a psychological consultant and counsellor for a number of different platforms.

My inspiration comes from a wide range of sources, from the work of true crime specialists such as Harold Schecter and Peter Vronsky, to masters of the macabre fiction Thomas Ligotti and Clive Barker. I’m also a King Constant Reader and a Lovecraft obsessive.

Regarding work-for-hire positions, I only take on work which interests me on a personal level. I believe in quality prose, mature storytelling and saying as much in as few words as possible. If you’re looking for content spinning, clickbait or SEO word-cramming, please look elsewhere.

I live in the UK with my partner Samantha and son Luca.
